About the project
Kelachandra group was founded in 1786 and is one of the oldest conglomerates in India with business across multiple geographies and multiple industry segments.
Since the group had different interests across coffee plantations, infrastructure, aviation the brands philosophy, visual identity across each vertical was different. This made it difficult to identify the brand as ONE conglomerate.
We re-looked at the brands core values, its vision and mission and then implemented those into their visuals and communications. Since the brand already had a a lot of printed / fabrication done they did not want spend heavily on rebranding everything would not be financially logical. So we suggested them to just modernise the same by looking at a better typeface and adding a character to their current logo.
During our primary research we spoke to their staff and stakeholders and found out what they actually stand for and used those research findings to come up with their brand values, brand personality and archetype.
